Product Details
Description
The PowerSeeker 60 is a refractor telescope perfect for terrestrial and celestial viewing on the go. The PowerSeeker can see planets, moon, star clusters, and brighter deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy at night. The diagonal of the upright image star makes the optical tube ideal for use as a spotting scope during the day.
Setting up the telescope is a snap, so you can start observing in no time. Even on your first outing, you can assemble the telescope and its accessories in just a few minutes. The adjustable tripod legs allow you to customize the height of the telescope or place it on raised surfaces like a picnic table.
Alt-Azimuth manual telescope
Navigate the sky with pan-grip Alt-Az control with clutch for smooth and precise aiming. Move the clutch up / down, left / right to follow your object through the eyepiece.
Accessories included
The PowerSeeker 60 comes with two eyepieces (20mm and 4mm), an upright image diagonal, a finder scope and a Barlow lens. The two eyepieces offer different magnifications to view the object you want. The 3x Barlow objective triples the magnification power of each eyepiece. The diagonal of the upright image allows viewing from the right side ideal for terrestrial subjects, but can also be used for celestial objects. The finderscope will help you quickly center an object in your eyepiece for easier observation.

Warning solaire
- Never look directly at the sun with the naked eye or through a lens (unless you have the appropriate sun filter). Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.
- Never use your optics to project an image of the sun onto any surface. Internal heat build-up can damage the optics and all accessories attached to them.
- Never leave your optics unattended. Make sure that an adult familiar with the correct operating procedures is at all times with your optic, especially when children are present.
